Rice Centennial Farm, established in 1905 by Matthew Rice, is now proudly operated by Randy Rice, Matthew's great-grandson, making it a fourth-generation family farm located in Benzonia.
At Rice Farm, we are committed to providing the highest quality Benzonia meats, free from pesticides, growth hormones, or anabolic steroids. While the meat industry often relies on harmful practices like confining livestock to overcrowded pens, we believe in sustainable farming practices that allow our animals to roam freely in pastures during the summer and enjoy access to the outdoors in the winter. Unlike conventional feedlot-raised animals, which are rushed to market in just 12 to 18 months, our cattle take about two-and-a-half years to reach maturity, ensuring a healthier and more ethical product. We do not use any chemicals in raising our animals; they graze on our homegrown crops during winter and drink spring-fed water, reflecting our dedication to quality and sustainability.
